Student Learning Working Group

A game for students to play about internet safety, use, etc. I have not played through as I had guest status, but I will check it out further. I am not sure if it is free.

One year from now, we want to be doing the following well:

Tom: Enhanced communication and overall coordination of educational technology (what do we expect to see students learning/doing a year from now)

Kathy: Starting with teachers, better access to one another, increase communication and use of technology in their classroom; sharing ideas of how they can use technology in the classroom (what worked, what didn't work, what do we want to keep trying)

Lynette: framework for troubleshooting, the ability to fix a problem and move forward not allowing the barriers to prevent us from utilizing the tools we have

John: We've established clear learning targets/standards linked to national and world standards that make it clear what is expected of students re: ed tech in all classrooms.

Some notes from Kodiak

There are no quick clean convenient tasks
Observe, Orient, Decide, Act

"I got bad news for you, it's not about you; it's about the student."
Just because we did it, doesn't mean it will work right away.
